There is no good health without good nutrition and good nutritio depends on agriculture. Yet public agriculture and health agencies interact little and are guided by distinct and sometimes contradictory objectives. Agricultural ministries aim for greater food and feed production with available technology and resources, where health ministries focus on disease control. nutrition objectives and outcomes play a role in both agencies but are often secondary to the main political and technical concerns in those two sectors. Waarvan acte.
